This past Thursday saw Quizmaster debut at Cafe Football in Stratford!
Our quiz night kicked off at 7pm sharp, but unfortunately due to audio issues the Quizmaster was without a microphone, so Quizmaster Sam vocalised the entire quiz to teams throughout the game! Don't worry, a couple of pints soon sorted out a sore throat.
As teams gathered, we soon had a total of 12 teams and over 30 players, ready to be quizzed on for a chance to win three great prizes!
And Cafe Football were at the ready to serve up some of their delicious food to our collection of quiz contestants...
The Chefs even managed to find time to squeeze in a few questions, racking up a score of 35 points as B.O. Chefs!
And they were one of a handful of teams on the evening to finish on a score of 35 points, as 3 Masquetaines took part in our quiz night.
Our Best Team Name winners Dapper Laugh's Banter Fanclub finished up with 35 points too. They won a £30 voucher for their team name. Good job gents.
Elsewhere on the evening, the threesome that were Smells like team spirit finished up in joint 4th place with a decent score of 38 points!
We saw the introduction of the quiz pair that is 2 Non Blondes finish with a score of 30 points.
And another duo, Lee & Al who managed to finish in joint fourth place. Good haul guys!
The fivesome that was Norfolk in chance managed to just miss out on a prize, as their score of 40 points left them in third place.
Winning a voucher for a Burger and a Beer each was Dutch Rudder, That udder!! The runners up scored a total of 41 points!
But no one could beat the mighty score of 47 points from "Cafu's Futsal" (Brasil!) who took away a two-course meal each and a bottle of wine! Congrats boys.
